Moments That Matter

Moments that Matter is a 7 day interdisciplinary arts program designed to explore a variety of book making techniques to illustrate the scenes and memories from your life.  Through written word and visual illustration, a memorable moment—your first dance, a favorite birthday, beloved pets, all come alive.

Each day will begin with a session of Chi Kung in the fresh Greek air, followed by a writing prompt to help access the memories of your life. You will then turn your attention to a blank concertina folded book for collage, mark making, painting and writing to create a memoir treasure. You will gain inspiration from the wonders of the Greek Island, Kefalonia. 

The grant for this program (April 29-May 8) includes extra free days, accomodations, two meals a day, and excursions around the island. Early bird registration by March 30 is 1216 euros.
