In three days, you will create two books from plant fibers with your own handmade paper, cover designs, and binding. Day one begins with learning to pull sheets of paper using wet fiber techniques for wet pulp design. On the second day, you will explore paste paper painting techniques for decorating dry papers that could become interior pages or covers. On day three, you will make two books: a hard covered concertina and a Japanese style stab bound book. This three day workshop can be taken as individual classes or as an entire session.
