Sunday July 27, 2008   Books You Can Hang Like Pictures 10:00-4:00
Construct a 3-dimensional book that hangs on the wall instead of sitting on a shelf. This class begins with a look at books Paul has designed to display as reliefs or hang as pictures. Participants make 3D models using these techniques. Then they incorporate several of the models into a single book and experiment with different paper engineering techniques, including pop-up toy theater forms, for use within the single page.

Tools to bring: Scissors, ruler, bone folder, X-acto knife and cutting mat, glue stick, colored pencils and markers, collage and photographs, if desired.
