Seastone Papers' Commonplace Book is a 5 1/4" x 4 1/4" pamphlet-stitched soft cover book containing 15 poems printed on Crane's 100% cotton rag paper interspersed with unique handmade papers. The fiber is embellished with color-fast pigments and botanical or seaweed inclusions to reflect the theme of the book. Each book is based on one central theme: sea verse, garden verse, or love verse of poets including William Shakespeare, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Christopher Marlowe, and others. Except for the poetry, each book is one-of-a-kind based on the nature of the handmade paper.
